hey! i was having an idea of taking an old guitar E1BTROFT.jpg like that <<<, stripping it down to the wood, nd painting it black again and putting these graphics on it... jpmc.jpg now this might be asking for TOO much, but can any one give tips on painting the body black again? and then the clearcoating process? thanks for any help :D

I don't think it'd be wise to clear over those graphics. They're glossy, so I dont' know that the clear would stick. Also, it would take a lot(and I do mean a lot) of clear coat to make that edge disappear.

It does take a lot....9 thick coats of eurethane and a lot of wetsanding, but it holds ok to the decal. The first guitar I modded was a RG to JPM finish, and a trem cavity route to fit a lo-trs trem. That was 2 years ago and no problems so far
