antique_dream
Hey everyone, ever since I tried a seven string, I've been dying to get one. Does anyone have a seven string (preferably with a locking tremelo) that they are willing to part with? If need be, I'll take a neck and body w/o pickups or something weird like that..also, cosmetic flaws don't bother me. I'm trying to spend under $300... don't know if I can swing it, though.. e-mail me. Thanks for any offers you might have, FUnkmaster Nate antique_dream@yahoo.com

krazyderek
keep in mind a neck will be hard to find right... i never really thought of that cause i make all my own necks, so like they said.... finding a neck that would fit properly to buy could be kinda tricky... but here at a couple 7 string ones you could keep an eye on, if they go for cheap enough you might want to get one and play around with it a bit BUTTTT if you don't get a neck with around the same overhang then your intonation... and maybe the whole scale will be way off.. I know this sounds corny, but also keep an eye on ebay, i saw a seven string go for mega cheap more then once (like sub 200$), i just didn't have the cash for it at the time... http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...&category=38083 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...&category=41423 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...&category=41423

Anyone interested? It's like cco57 only it has the older ovation pre-amp. westhemann
well i'll be honest i am not familiar with a 7 string s series so i don't know what they go for.but that is a really nice guitar.congrats i have really enjoyed my sabre.most comfortable strat shaped guitar around imo
antique_dream
I've heard the S series 7 strings are kind of rare, I'm not sure if it's true or not...
krazyderek
i love the flame top on that one, i think it was a good grabe... i'd prefer a neck thru though and a better bridge, but it's still nice
westhemann
well the trs is a decent trem with a good feel, and when the knife edges getting dull starts to piss you off you can just replace it with an original floyd
canuckguitarist
yea, i love that flame maple top, congrats man! btw: I have no problem with the lo-trs, I can see why the OFR and edge are superior, but the trs is a decent trem nonetheless
