jessejames
Next to it is my singlecut design that's been on here multiple times. I made this in ArtCam but since I sold my CNC I finished it by hand, but making my own CAD files I can now send them to the waterjet company and have them cut out in aluminum. Any thoughts on the new design?
ScottR
NIce visual balance, flows well. The tips of the horns are so different though, that they don't really look like they belong to the same guitar. I'd keep working on them till they work better together. They don't have to have the same degree of pointiness....they just need to look like they go together. SR
bob123
All your base are belong to PRS, imo. Looks like a cross between an abyss and PRS, but the bass and treble horn dont balance visually. What I think WOULD work well is this design with a carved top.
pauliemc
your top horn needs to be taller (more to the right in the pik above) & be slightly longer aswell. it doesnt have enough mass to it for good visual balance against the bottom one. It all just my opinion of course, but i have always found that a double cut looks a little better if its a little heavier on the top horn. verhoevenc
You're mixing themes. Getting that to work well is going to be VERY hard. One pointy horn, one rounded horn. Sorry, but this is a 'back to the drawing board' IMO. Chris
Muzz
Got to agree with the comments above, I know how hard it is to design an original body shape, but my advice is keep experimenting until it looks cool
jessejames
I think I will make one like this and carve the top and see what the consensus is after that.
