LGM Guitars
So, here is what the bodies look like, I need a name for them. My first thought (and the one I'm stillleaning towards) is "blade" since it reminds me of a circular saw blade, but I've had some other suggestions made, so lets do a poll. monkey69962000
its a viper no doubt about it.
Ki swordsman
i like raptor but from a business standpoint i'd go with edge, it's catchy, more stylish and caters for a larger crowd, as most musos aren't metallers i love that you're starting a line!!! imagine if one day we see LGM guitars alongside fender, ibanez...etc as for the guitar it's nice.......................that's a mighty big horn
litchfield
Sniper...loads of little S curves in that bod. Lovin it
BLS
Raptor is used by Peavey, Viper is used by ESP I think Blade suits it best, BTW That looks awesome
Drak
'Blade' is also taken by Gary Levinson. I have one actually. Incredible guitar too. Look for some name in the Arachnid world, it looks kinda like a mean insect. Y'know, like 'Mantis' or some other insect name.
GuitarMaestro
Look for some name in the Arachnid world, it looks kinda like a mean insect. Y'know, like 'Mantis' or some other insect name. Mantis is cool!!!!
Dragyn
Look for some name in the Arachnid world, it looks kinda like a mean insect. Y'know, like 'Mantis' or some other insect name. I agree, the horns look like the pincers or mandibles of a large insect. Actually the whole body looks like the head of some kind of insect. Mantis sounds kool, also maybe Recluse as in the Brown Recluse Spider. IF only want to pick from the above list I would go with Sniper. I possibly need more sleep too!!!! a bicycle made of anarchy
i like "edge" the best too.. Ki is right about selling the guitar to "non-metallers"
darren wilson
I think Mantis is a great name!
LGM Guitars
Hmmmm, I like Mantis too, thanks alot you guys, now I'm even more confused
Drak
Get a scientific dictionary or something like that, or a scientific book on insects that has their scientific names, I bet you find a gazillion names. ...I kind of liked arachnid myself. deshibs
I know that it is not on your list, but it looks more like a "Talon" to me. Just my $0.02 worth. Shibs
Scott Rosenberger
Reminds me of a Sickle, sp? you know, those things people wing to cut down tall grass and weeds.
weezerboy
but then its only a matter of time before someone says "aww dawg thats sickle!" i think mantis is cool or anything inthat genre
Maiden69
I voted Predator because it looks like the gadgets that they use in the movies and comic books... But Manthis is a great name for it withthe long horns like the top arms, and the round edges is like the manthis hook the arms to grab the prays. Note of caution the femele manthis rips the males head while copulating, kinda scary, because the male keeps going after this until he dies... soapbarstrat
Looks like a guitar those Klingon guys on Star Trek would play
skibum5545
Reminds me of a Sickle, sp? you know, those things people wing to cut down tall grass and weeds. yeah, but then someone will accuse you of being a commie pig and they'll throw you in Guantanamo Bay. Scythe, however, would be cool.
MKGBass
I agree with Ski bum about the Scythe name. Edge is the second place voted right now, but i think that is maybe taken? It sounds like a Dean instrument for some reason...i could be wrong. Otherwise, Mantis sounds pretty cool, or you could always shoot the ibanez method and call it the "LG5C" for Little Green 5 Cutaway or something like that.... LGM Guitars
The fender Heartfield line of guitars had a model called "Talon" though. Total Ibanez wanna be too right down to the PGM blue with pink pickups LOL. Drak, I'm not sure how I feel about my guitar design being compared to any type of paddle LOL!!!!
