  1. Oh socks, I have to learn to read through a thread before I go asking questions
  2. They're all so tasty! Love the tight quilt of the purple one and the crazy figure of the green one.
  3. That's an insanely nice quilt, it's gonna look pretty swish. Nice work, I'll be watching this one.
  4. Yep I was wondering the same thing as Wes, and wouldn't it give you splinters? Looks AMAZING though, good call on the black hardware. How did you 'dimple' all the hardware and wood?
  5. Is that an LVguitars/online instruments-neck? how bout some pics of the dragon inlays? That burst looks great, with the clear coats and hardware on it'll looks awesome, and you'll have to tell me about how that necks plays and it's quality etc. Iv'e had my eye on them for quite a while Keep it up!
  6. If no one replies don't sweat. They will as the build moves on, it happens on every build thread.
  7. Well white and gold is my favourite combo, but that's white paint with gold hardware. Very sweet for playing on cliffs with miles of Marshall's behined you For this, I reckon chrome, or white hardware.... If you can get it, don't know of anywhere you can though.
  8. I see a bit of ESP Forest in that headstock, I like it. Good on ya for doing a charity build
  9. Hahaha guitar hero. You should make a mini version of this guitar into a guitar hero controller. Then go and Pwn some n00bs!
  10. WOWZA! I remember the start of this project a while ago, turned out really well. Do you airbrush or paint?
  11. The figure is in all the right places; in between the pups and behind the bridge. I'd like to try to build a neck but I'm not set up for it. Bodies is where the fun is though
  12. Maple! Or Flame maple, same thing, but one looks awesome!
  13. Ooooo Delightful! Looks like the sun's reflection on the sea at sunset.
  14. You can just cut a shim for neck angle. And because it's bolt-on you can try as many times as you like to get it right. Recessing TOM requires an extra teplate, and IMO higher bridges play better.
  15. Neck angle = very important!!!!! Have you considered going a string thru instead of a stop tailpeice? IMO it looks better on every thing except a Les Paul. Nice work though, the AANJ's are very easy to play on!
  16. Hahaha now that's proof of natural talent. How many have you sold now you reckon?
  17. Woah! I can't believe that was a tele! Is that a pickup selector on the bottom?
  18. Your trems rock (pun intended) What makes this trem better than the old one?
  19. Nice scarf, I liked the contrasteing scarf on your other one too.
  20. Really? I would have thought the difference in EQ would make them sound horrible, or not even pick up some of the vibrations of the higher notes. As for bridges, I know Perry uses a small bridge for each string on his eight stringers and multiscales, don't know what they're called though.
  21. Rick made a good point, make sure it's dry or dry it yourself. Very Important.
  22. Your guitars are phenomenal! I love how the inside of the bottom wing is actually the shape of the dragon's wing.
