  1. Your design reminds me of the Soloway Swan:
  2. O_O!!!! Holyyy carp that's a nice bass.
  3. Oh snap, and that's all? Awesome. Thanks alot guys. EDIT: Okay, so, it turns out my diagram was different than that, so I had to resolder a few wires here and there, but I got it to work, and it sounds a bit clearer now. So, thankyouthankyouthankyou~
  4. Okay, so this is probably a totally n00b-ish question, but I can't find a diagram anywhere. This is the way it's wired now: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/schem...dard_pbass.html Which wires get removed and/or resoldered? Sorry to bother you guys, but I have very little knowledge of electronics...
  5. Nah, it's got a mirror pickguard on there. You'd have to get a glass company or something to cut it for you, I'd guess.
  6. Uh, you can do it, just cut some grooves in the locking pieces so that you can still tune with the machine head, and have the look of the locking nut.
  7. So you're making bodies out of Pao Ferro, then? That's pretty cool, I don't think I've seen any bodies made out of any rosewood-ish wood aside from the Harrison tele.
  8. GAW, Drak. That is amazingggggggg. You're too good at this, it's not fair.
  9. O_O! Holy sexy guitar, but I think that headstock looks too pointy for a blues machine.
  10. Nice!!! And I'm not talking about the guitar, I'm talking about your duck. But I suppose the guitar is nice too.
  11. That's really cool. The string clamps are a locking nut? I always figured it was something fancier than that. Anyway, it looks great. Good job.
  12. It makes you sound like Buckethead. ;>_> That could be a good or bad thing...
  13. You should give the metal cover a rusty look. That would look really cool against that color stain, I think.
  14. I would love to see some strange colored EVH Stripe guitar, something like Blue and White or something interesting. Anyway, this looks cool. I can't wait to see it with clear on it.
  15. 1. A - Yes, there's plenty of choices out there. 2. A - Considering some companies pass low quality woods off as different types, yeah. 3. B - Especially in cheaper guitars. 4. B - There's a few, such as Carvin, but generally they're not cheap. 5. No. ;>_>
  16. What good is it gonna do you if you don't know the basics. I'd put the guitars down, step away, and take some suggestions and advice from people so you don't totally mess up the guitars. Maybe buy a book, or find a couple different websites (That's how I learned what I know - Guitargeek, here, and a little bit of Harmony Central).
  17. Hey, I've seen this many times on Harmony Central. I absoulutely love that finish. Great job.
  18. Haha, yeah, if you wanna sound like mush playing with any other instruments. You don't need THAT much gain. Man, I wouldn't even turn the amp distortion up, maybe 3/4 of the way up. If you're playing by yourself, sure, it sounds great, but with a band, too much distortion sounds really bad.
  19. Yeah, I'd do something about that neck joint...
  20. Doesn't look anything like an RG to me... The horns are thicker where they meet the rest of the body/neckpocket, and that little LGM cutout in the rear sets it off. Looks great.
  21. Holy mother of a weasel. CHILL. First of all, we ARE trying to help you. We wanted to know why you had to change it, to see if maybe you could fix it without totally having to change it.
  22. No strap buttons? How you gonna gig without strap buttons/locks?
