    A magazine called The Woodworker by Highbury Leisure Publishing are doing a project on guitar making with Alex Willis. Just thought some of you would like to know, it is a UK mag so dont know if you can get it in the U.S sorry.

    Jason used Carvin amps and guitars. I am not sure what effects he used. No that guy could rely play that fast he was not speeded up lol, remember he did replace Vai in the Dave Lee Roth band. It is sad what has happened to him, and i wish him all the best. This is his site

    There is a tutorial on this type of repair in the main site. There looks to be a peace missing on the pic just above the screws, have you still got the peace ?

    Try a good car spares centre, it is the same stuff used to rap looms on older cars.

    Do not wright your set list out in RED pen. When the stage lights come on you will not be able to see it.

    Thank you all for the replys. I may try putting some metal inserts in the neck then drill and tap them out for the screws to try and stop the fault that AlexVDL pointed out ( thanks ).

    Thank you for your reply i didnt think of that. Does this mean i cant use a normal locking nut to do this ?

    Does anyone know how Ibanez fit there locking nut on the prestige necks ? There are no screw holes in the back so are they glued ?

    Very nice, i like it. What is it like when light hits it does it give of a disco ball effect ? How are you going to do the fret marks on the neck, the same ? Can not wait to see it finished, you are doing a great job.

    I use Dimarzio clip lock straps and have a rally harness pad on it for more comfort.

    I do a few differant ones. Judo, Juijitsu, Iaido and Eskrima. It keeps me fit and they are fun, i would say to anyone to give martial arts a try.

    Thanks for the replys. I will be making a new neck to do this with, are there any rules as to how thin you can have it with LEDs ? To do a search will it be under this room (inlays and finishing) or in the electronics or do i just type in LED frets ? Thanks for the help

    Has anyone here ever fitted leds to a neck (for the fret marks). Iam thinking of trying this so any tips would be great

    They are lace entry level pick ups (cheap). I think they are still made by them, they say on there site that they are high powered and designed for better top end. lace

    Have you tryed a car parts shop, i got some bolts for my rack from one and they have little leds in them
