  1. I live in Sweden... You can get 10 and even 100 Mbit fiber, but not for $10, more like $50-100 But that is only in the larger cities. Most people can get 8 Mbit, almost everybody can get 0.5 Mbit (ADSL) I pay $45 for 8/1 Mbit (8 down, 1 up) Anyway, we (sweden) was one of the first countries with laws against piracy, long before US The new law makes it illegal to download copyrighted material, before it was illegal to have, use, share and upload copyrighted material. (you could download but not have or use it... I know... ) Cheap... well: Example: 12 Neck Mounting Ferrules, StewMac: $5.44 GMF (the only supplier of parts in sweden): $48.16 Maybe cheaper internet but...

  4. Thanks! Hehe, I've been thinking of translating it for ages, I just need a few more hours every day "She" sounds good Its hard to describe a sound, it works best with lots of overdrive, the pickups are kind of "dirty" sounding (very hot pickups) a little trebly maybe but the best neck pickup sound I have ever played with. The gotog truss is very easy to install and works well, just route a 11x9 mm slot for it and drop it in with the "open" side down. Can't wait to see it... The inlay is lasercut, laserengraved (with a little help with the dremel) in the fretboard
  5. Yup: Body: Mahogany/Maple Neck: Maple/Bubinga/Maple, Gotoh duals action trussrod, rosewood fretboard, stainless steel frets Gotoh tuners and stopbar, Schaller bridge. Gibson "dirty fingers" pickups More pics here: http://www.fagerlund.biz/explorer.htm
  6. Very nice neck! What do you think about the Gotoh truss, I'm building a (actually two...) neck with the gotoh 2 way rod.
  7. This one: http://www.ulsinc.com/english/laser_system..._line/m300.html
  8. I do all my fretboards with a laser, inlays and all. You have to clean the inlay "cavities" with a dremel or something, and saw the fretslots to get the right width/depth. The laser I use works lika any windows printer, just draw the board in corel and print.
  9. Thank you all! The "double" is a great looking guitar, and I bet it plays just as well as it looks I would like to hear a soundclip of the 12 string, I'm thinking of building one (only one neck though ) My favorite guitar this month was the SG, amazing work, and ofcourse the polka V (randy is still my hero ) But all guitars are amazing, I really like the Bocaster, when idch started cutting that one I thought, "my god, that must be the ugliest guitar on earth" but he proved me wrong
  10. So you will use the neck AND bridge pickup all the time
  11. Thanks! I will double check the angle before building ofcourse The reason I asked was because I've found a couple of drawings on the net and none of them have a neck angle. I also played a "x-plorer pro" that didnt have a noticable angle either (the fretboard was high above the body)
  12. Anyone knows the neck angle on a gibson explorer, if any? and ofcourse I've tried the search function Maybe someone could post a pic of the fretboard/body from above. and ofcourse I've tried google
  13. Great work as always hyunsu! And happy birthday!
  14. Ofcourse you can enter the bocaster, I like it Ooops, no replies here, entries only, better enter a guitar then... Ok: Alder body with a light flamed maple top, Maple/bubinga/maple neck, Stainless steel frets (I love them!) Ibanez Edge, Rio Grande BBQ bridge pickup ibanez V7 Neck pickup. SOUNDCLIP
  15. Ohhh, swedes I got the wood from Br. Holm www.holm.nu I havent found anyone that sells nice figured wood here. The trussrod (and tuners, pots and necksockets) from rockinger in germany, www.rockinger.com Trussrod = Dragstång in swedish
  16. I made a short "song" with the guitar. I wish I could play better but... Listen Here Yes, I "stole" most of the song from mr. blackmore and mr. rhoads
  17. I buy them "second hand" You can order the edge/lopro from Ibanez, but they are very expensive. I paid $50 for the black one.
  18. Thank you all! Your guitar looks amazing! I didnt have enough top left to do natural bindings, the bindings cover 1/3 or so of the top now.
  19. Nitro finish, no soundclips.... yet the top was about 2 cm thick, the binding covers 2/3 of whats left of the top. The top was sold as "plain" maple, not figured thats why the very "light" flames, but I kinda like it that way
  20. Yup, another one done Info: Alder body with a light flamed maple top, Maple/bubinga/maple neck, Ibanez Edge, Rio Grande BBQ bridge pickup ibanez V7 Neck pickup. I used scrap from the neck to make pickuprings and vol/tone knobs. More pics HERE
  21. Yup, you dont have a JEM decal on it... The trussrod is adjusted from the neck pickup cavity, right?
