HuntinDoug Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 I thought this one up a couple days ago... Couldnt sleep last night, so I got up early to work on it. Just finished it up. Pearlessence on an African Brown Rosewood board, 25 1/2 scale. The black lines are deliberate....Gives it depth. This one is going on a cool project....Stay tuned. Quote

jsnhavoc Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Bad ass. Do you have any pictures of the skinnier inlays? i.e. markers for frets 14-21. Quote
peterhanson Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 I hate to repeat the last five posts, but I had to say excellent job. Totally killer. Quote
GGW Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 Very nice. How do you get the black lines? I was just in a guitar shop earlier today and saw inlays outlined in black lines (can't remember the the guitar) and thought how nice it lokked. Quote
westhemann Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 you use black epoxy for the glue usually Quote
radrobgray Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 when you said bloody sharkfin inlays i thought you may have injured your self tying to inlay them. those are sweet. Quote
