Brian Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Awesome looking guitar bro! And yes you should enter it in the Guitar of the Month contest for February since were already voting on the January one Quote
Southpa Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 VERY NICE, I love the finish. I'm currently refinishing an old EKO archtop and its coming out looking very similar, sort of a "denim" color. I'm using blue clothing dye, lol. I also like the recessed knobs. It saves on having the use the extra long (3/4") shaft pots. Quote
JFC Posted December 28, 2003 Author Report Posted December 28, 2003 I'm using blue clothing dye, lol. hehe, I used cyan pigment dye for large format inkjet printers So... I've read alot about the "guitar of the month" but... How do I enter Quote
Reaper Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 just post a picture in the thread (the one in the annoucements section). Quote

erikbojerik Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Very cool, body shape and finish, but I like the carve best! Quote
darren wilson Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I'll add my voice to the chorus here... great job! I can see where you've drawn your influences from, but you've very thoughtfully blended them nicely into something very unique. It's aesthetically pleasing and looks very functional. What kind of neck joint is that? Quote
JFC Posted December 29, 2003 Author Report Posted December 29, 2003 Can we see more pics? I'd be interested in the neck join. And the maple PU rings. it it really your first Guitar? is you your job is woodwoking job? neck is your own handmade neck? Yes, Its my first guitar, I've done some small repairs, fretting and stuff before but nothing this "big" . No, I work with graphic design. Neck is my own handmade. What kind of neck joint is that? Les Paul style set neck, sanded to blend with the body on the treble side. Thanks for all the positive replies, I will enter it in the guitar of the month then Quote
