RestorationAD
Oh this is going to be epic... S9 style BC Rich Bich replica with a few tweaks to the horns to make it scary. This will be the first non S9 cut on the CNC. Starting with the template.

RestorationAD
Fretboard attached with the marching hammers. Cleaning up the sides of the neck after attaching fretboard.
RestorationAD
The fretboard was a little thin so I added a maple veneer under it... now we have a distinct line.
RestorationAD
Neck fit. Headstock wings on. This is a non-reverse as I didn't think the rev headstock would look good on this one.

sdshirtman
Holy crap thats a lot of clamps. I always hated the BCR headstock designs. I think yours looks much better.

HuntinDoug
Are you doing it as a 10 string bich, or 6?
RestorationAD
Are you doing it as a 10 string bich, or 6? 6. It is not a true BC Rich as its specs are really an S9. I have a project on the shelf for 2 real Bichs one 10 and one 6 ... just need the time to do a real replica. Might have to buy a vintage one to copy as well
demonx
Might have to buy a vintage one to copy as well Might need to open up the wallet for that - they're fetching big bucks these days. So far so good, but I'm a lover of the "vintage" Bich's so I find it hard to get into oter variations. Even real BCR's I dont like if they dont have the 3 aside headstock:
avengers63
The Bich is just begging to be headless. Give it the treatment I'm giving the Corvus: Steinberger tuners and a TOM bridge.

RestorationAD
Thanks! The trick is to not use white dots but aged white dots... that way they blend in better with the maple. White dots always stick out way too much for me. I only use them in certain situations.
