Jehle
There are shops devoted to building Eddies. Is there really that much of a demand for them? Even now? When Eddie isn't really cool anymore? No Shops "Officially" Build Eddies Guitars anymore But there's still plenty of demand for them Ah. The sting of a lawsuit does take the shop part out of it. wyldbil
There are shops devoted to building Eddies. Is there really that much of a demand for them? Even now? When Eddie isn't really cool anymore? No Shops "Officially" Build Eddies Guitars anymore But there's still plenty of demand for them Well, actually... If you have money dripping from all your orifices, you may now buy an OFFICIAL Charvel EVH guitar, HAND PAINTED by ol' Eddie VH HIMSELF! I kid you not, just follow the link... http://www.evh-guitars.com/ But OH MY GOD those prices!
BLS
Thats pretty cool that their all hand striped by him. http://www.evh-guitars.com/live1.html this was also pretty neat. The price is rediculous though!
ikke_998
i really don't want to be the boogyman, but if you look here: http://www.evh-guitars.com/gallery7.html you can see they have a special mark on there headstock that says : Art EHV series ,and if you look closley on the main page ,all guitars have nickel or chrome hardware!! BeAR
Yeah, I was thinking about putting this logo on the back of the headstock too........ Just for that authentic............ "cease and desist" vibe. I cant get sued if its for personal use can I??????????? Just wondering.
litchfield
Not unless you sell it. If it gets stolen, it'll bring BIG bucks
BeAR
i couldnt resist doing that logo in photoshop, it should look pretty damn good on the back of the headstock.
litchfield
And great for the insubordinate vibe.
BeAR
I managed to drill and attach the neck tonight. I installed the machine heads and Floyd, and strung her up. I cant believe how low the action is without fret buzz. Its actually much lower than I would usually have but the bigger frets help with string bends. Ill leave the string tuned to concert pitch for a day or so and let the neck settle in, then its tear down time and finish the paint. ikke_998
thats really sweet man! are you also gonna age it like the original one?
BeAR
No Way!!!!!! I just dont get the relic whole scene. I like my guitars shiny and new, so artificially aging them seems a little dumb to me. I have all new hardware from the Floyd Rose to the Schaller machine heads and the Seymor Duncan Custom pickup, so I figure the body should match. Each to their own I guess.
