GuitarMaestro
Try taking pictures outside in daylight. I always do that and my pictures come out excellent although I have no clue about photography. Getting good pictures with artificial lighting is difficult and especially if you have a not so great cam.

Dugz Ink
Yeah... that headstock works well with the body. It has a very clean look, with some wicked edges and points. And it's screaming to be cranked up really loud! Let 'er rip! D~s

!!METAL MATT!!
Great work. i wasnt sure about the 12th fret upwards being along the bottom but actually looks really good when you look at the whole guitar. Well I was building Gothic guitars before it was cool to build Gothic guitars now mass produced junk commpiens are building so called Gothic guitars for any of the slub's who listen to crap ass lame pop metal and want to be cool and look like the guys they sees on TV. Sure some my not like my guitars but thats not why I build them I build them for my myself and the joy that my work brings to others who have a real love for the art of death metal!! and for that mater any hard music that has meaning fealing and real life mesages behind it!! anyway I havent seen mass produced junk hear on this Forum and that's the reason Iam hear all the pepole on this forum are hear because they love the art of music and building the guitars that are used for makeing that music the Project Guitar Forum kick's ass!! WOW sorry about that that one realy got me going there anyway thanks for the kind words!! !!METAL MATT!!

You and hyunsu...I just want to blow my savings on your guitars and take them off your hands. Keep it up, i cant wait to see your work done...haha i jsut realized, the virgin looks like these things my little brother used to play with, crazy bones, all of them had the whole skinny top, wide bottom thing going one. I dunno why my memories jumped to that, but it made me laugh. Edited November 22, 2004 by xebryusguitars
javacody
So matt, you've been building goth guitars longer than BC Rich? Hasn't the Warlock been around since the 70's/80's?
!!METAL MATT!!
So matt, you've been building goth guitars longer than BC Rich? Hasn't the Warlock been around since the 70's/80's? YA YA I know B.C Rich was building goth guitars since 70's/80's but in my mind now its all about the botom line, the profits and what's popular at the time they still do some great work but I,ve lost alot respect for what B.C Rich does not what they did in the past and I did not say that all commpiens where building crap some are still devoted to the art but not all of them!! !!METAL MATT!! javacody
Seeing your guitars reminds me of the good ole thrash days of my teenage years. Stage Diving, Pointy Guitars, unintelligible lyrics. Good Stuff. Milano Mosh anyone? I remember, I had this kick ass Guitar poster with Kerry King in it with this big ol spiky armband and he's playing a Rich Bich. At the time, that was the shiznit to me. Anyway, enough about the good ol' days, did Slayer ever put out a greatest hits disc?

!!METAL MATT!!
Well I showed cayle how to drill the holes for his birdge today and I let him do all the work on his own!! he is doing very well for his first and he is only 14 years old, this guitar should come out deadly, and the only resason that there is tape on the drill bit is that I like to have a backup plan just in case I set the depth wrong on the drill press I would not want him to drill right through!! right HAHAHA http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/ZAD...c12101cayle.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/ZAD...c12100cayle.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/ZAD...c12109cayle.jpg !!METAL MATT!! MikeB
great way to be! kinda what im on the tracks of, cept i have got 2 ppl paying me for guitars atm, 3 guitars - that is 2 complete builds, one refinish from hell! so yeah, im not charging too much more for the building than i would if i were doing it for somewhere big, kinda as a favour to guys in that they get it cheaper, and a favour to me, i get more experience - my first 7 string coming up! Wasabi J
Hey... Just outta curiosity... you like any Jap metal? Man, those guys have some awesome shred... and some kick guitars! I love your stuff, man. It's the same thing that keeps me wanting to stay interested in guitars everyday, and the same reason I love ESP Japan (I'm sorry, they will always be my fave company)... they continue to invent, and go for whatever they can possibly think of! If you're burnt out on BC Rich and Ric... serious man, check out some of the ESP designs... they will really blow you away. I want to maybe someday become a luthier, mainly for kids like me that don't have all the cash in the world but need a piece of identity through a guitar that's 100% them. Sounds cheesy, but that's my dream... to make custom guitars for people that don't have the time to take up the art.... but for now, gotta make sure I do well on my first "transformation"! Your stuff kicks, man! ---- Link to the artist gallery at ESP Japan... Be amazed: http://www.espguitars.co.jp/gallery/index.html and a pic of one of the coolest retail guitars I've seen I hope that doesn't get me in trouble... I just wanted to show some of my guitar making inspiration. Edited December 13, 2004 by Wasabi J
crafty
I love ESP Japan (I'm sorry, they will always be my fave company)... they continue to invent, and go for whatever they can possibly think of! If you're burnt out on BC Rich and Ric... serious man, check out some of the ESP designs... they will really blow you away. I'm not trying to put you down or anything Wasabi, but I've never seen anything come out of ESP that someone else hasn't been doing for at least 10 years. In fact, most of ESP's early endorsers simply slapped ESP logos on top of their Kramer and Jackson logos when they got their contracts from ESP. The Horizon: PRS Copy The Eclipse: Les Paul Copy The M Series: Strat/Dinky/Soloist Copy The Viper: SG Copy The EX: Explorer Copy The DV8: Gibson V Copy The LTD F/AX Series: Schecter Copy Besides non-production, not-for-sale instruments, I really haven't seen much innovation at all from ESP besides using EMG active pickups in a production guitar.
