ScottR
That is a very sharp guitar--in every sense of the word! Love the neck join and I really love the back. What is that (back) wood? Does your title mean you're going to grace us with more builds this year? SR

RestorationAD
Nice to see you here again Brian. Guitars look great as always. Consolidated threads are good for guys like us. Those look like hipshot lockers with knurled round knobs. I have to email jason about those.
Canuck Brian
This one is totally finished yet (tuners dont' have the lock down screw drilled yet so they're not lined up yet), so the pics look like they're taken with a potato. The better ones will be coming once i do the music store test and have way better lighting. I can't photograph this thing worth a poop, hence the flash on/flash off pics. This one comes in at under 6 pounds fully loaded. SFLx7 25 frets, 12-25 scalloped, 26 inch scale Tigerwood fretboard Figured Myrtlewood top on black limba core Lightly figured maple neck with dyed green maple stringers Battleworn gold camo BK Aftermaths Petrucci 3 way 3 mm Luminlay indicators
pan_kara
Wow, these are stunning! What's the neck profile there, some sort of asymmetric V?
HuntinDoug
You should try this: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Supplies:_Shielding/Conductive_Shielding_Paint.html It works great, and is much easier than copper tape. killemall8
If you are in the USA, they have that magnetic paint at home depot for only 20 bucks.
westhemann
It's not supposed to be magnetic.
killemall8
Does magnetic not = conductive, which is the same thing as that stew mac paint? heard people saying it the same way for years.
verhoevenc
Nope. Things can be magnetic and not conductive (I'm not 100% sure on this one... but I THINK an example would be ceramic magnets?) and things can also be conductive but not magnetic (like copper essentially 0 magnetism... but in theory it has SOME). Then there are obviously things that are both like most stuff with iron in it. Chris
