I’m really looking forward to seeing the glamor shots of this thing-It’s so close! hello again! Thank you so much! I have some pics scattered in this thread of how this bridge was made. It was basically carved out of a piece of 7075 aluminoum. I rough cut it with a saw then drilled for the post holes then did a lot of filing and …here we are! I love how it rings and it feels wonderful playing with my right hand! It is sleek!

The worst bridges I know are those with protruding set screws digging into your palm!

argytar
I desided to give a sharper edge to the compnsated bridge for better sustain. Charis of GMI Halon hardware advised me to. Look them up they are GREAT!

Charlie H 72
Yooooo that’s awesome!!! love it! You owe it to yourself to get better pics-outside on a cloudy day with a plain background or have a friend who’s good with a camera come snap a few. Anyway-that aside, congrats, this has been really fun to follow, and most importantly, I’m sure it’s fun to play! Enjoy!

Andyjr1515
Great job! Last time I tried to wire a semi through the soundholes I had to lie in a darkened room for a few hours to re-compose myself. I vowed I would NEVER do it again. With just the normal number of switches this would be impressive but with this many! Guitar looks splendid too.
argytar
Hey thanks all! Difficult summer so far, with so many things happening all around.. Anyways , a friend of mine took tha guitar for a spin and liked the out of phase sounds very much. Another one took some more professional pics. Youtube video coming up too.
argytar
So here is how she sounds like! LOTS of options!
Bizman62
That looks and sounds great! But that was to be expected... The video as such is a great tutorial for understanding the pickups - neck, bridge, split, parallel, series, out of phase... That should be put somewhere sticky under the title of "pickup wiring options and how they sound"!
