nakedzen
Thanks guys! Now onto the LP jr. I think I'll need to redo the P90 I wound for it, it only ended up having 3.5k DC resistance.

nakedzen
Took me a while to get a sound clip done. Some sloppy random noodling:
nakedzen
LP jr. build hasn't progressed much. At least I got the P90 wound for it.
nakedzen
LP jr. progress. Cut the truss rod channel and neck pocket, routed the neck shape and fretboard.

Some sloppy random noodling: nice demo. i am not crazy about the A5 neck but the bridge sounds outstanding. I might like the neck a bit more for solo stuff but you did mostly chords and it just didn't have enough highs for me (just one aholes o... myself I appreciate detailed feedback so I hope I'm not coming on too strong... just my honest impression). Bridge sounds like a slight overwind? 12kish? anywho, the kemper sounds nice as well.
nakedzen
Thanks for checking! They're both around 9.5k. I like the neck, I wanted something with a smoother top end.

I'm surprised, that is a VERY slight overwind. neck doesn't sound bad or anything... just not what I'm used to hearing there. cudos on a great sounding build.
nakedzen
Thanks! I had to do a sneak preview of how the jr. would look like. Also, glow dots.

nakedzen
Moving on. New tool day. Headstock thicknessed and shaped, veneer glued. I really need to sort out the dust removal at the shop. Shop-vac crapped out on me, won't turn on anymore, and the big system I have hasn't got the hoses done yet. nakedzen
Neck is done, waiting for frets to arrive. Then glue the fretboard and the neck to the body!
nakedzen
Some progress, frets installed, fretboard glued. Toothbrush seems to work alright for glue cleanup, stole that from the Gibson factory tour videos. Level sanding the top in progress. Installed the bridge pins.
Bizman62
That bookmatch! I can see a cartoonish elongated figure in a trench coat with collars up, wearing a top hat and hands in the pockets...
