    p 90

they screw directy into the wood, there is no way to addjust the hight other than the pole peices, just the way P-90's should be! hard and rocking!
  2. Most of slashes sound comes from a cranked marshall 2550, with the low output pickups, so that and a metal sound might be abit hard to aceive togther IMO
  3. sweet, I love thunderbirds, maybe a diff head stock though? the fender style looks alright though
  4. I am a gibson guy through pretty much, but I love all guitar brands, theres at least 1 model from pretty much every manufacturer that I would love to own.
  5. If its stuffed up tell him I will buy it! Sorry don't have any advice on the neck removal, but if your friend wants you to have a go at it, and your confident about it, I'd say do it, but just don't let yourself get into deep about it, or loose your friend if you mess it up
  6. first guitar was a argos classical, first electric is a westone thunder 1 A, I git the guitar and £30 for a trade on a game cube! I love the guitar, I still use it reguarlly.
  7. P-90's! nothing beats the anit social howl of em through a non master vol. tube amp!
  8. thats a great pedal, many a person I see often has 2 in their rigs, one in the effects loop and one in front, and the best thing about the you can get them modded for the best sounding boost and tone shaping, really versitle that pedal.
  9. abit off topic but, P-90's rule! How come you want to change it to a humbucker? Too much noise?
  10. started on bass, now play guitar as well, so all three
  11. lespaul juniors DC or SG juniors, they are some of the nicest shapes, and P-90's!
  12. that is amazing, I would love that!
  13. All tube non master vol amp, with effects, rock on!
  14. A nice well used Lespaul junior or SG junior....ahhhhh lovley
  15. I'd go for just the one if you never use the tone. One day I would love a guitar with no knobs, just have a vol. pedal for it!
  16. I am very found of lespaul double cuttaways, junior style, SG juniors, thunderbird basses, rickenbacker basses, Icemen....oh the list goes on
  17. hmmm sounds strange, how much distortion have you got coming out your cabs at the moment? could just be that the amp doesn't "agree" with the pedal but that seems unlikly. Also do you have the 2 channel JCM 800? because in the boost section of the amp, it has cliping diodes, so somthing in the pedal might not work good with them?
  18. "i prefer to see a guitar relic its self" Amen to that! In 20 years that guitar will look nice and lived in
  19. I got one, but its not very good, I am the second person to have this, there is some drawing on it already and it needs reguling I can get some photos if you wanna look. 3 peice btw
  20. man I love firebirds, and P-90 thats almost an ultimate for me!
  21. the only places I think where you could get close to a kit is warmoth or allparts, but these become quite pricey.
