Brian Posted June 25, 2003 Report Share Posted June 25, 2003 I'm on dialup and will always remain that way as long as I have to work with website's. I've been approached by all of the major high speed internet companys and it seems hard for them to get it through their heads that a guy that has several website's he takes care of would want to stick with dial up. I simply tell them that since the majority of the world isn't on cable I need to see what they are seeing as far as page load times. Plus I just happen to have a ton of paitence so I don't need to spend the extra dough on a zippy connection since I'm usually on the net 2-4 times a day anyway keeping up with things, except during heavy work load periods of course. ajb Posted May 28, 2004 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 Cable is better than DSL for these reasons, it is cheaper as well as faster and it doesnt take up a phone line so it doesnt make sense to me why people would want to buy DSL, i have cable, so im recomending it.
