I got a 707 installed right now by it seld and I can get nice high tones out of it, like the 81 and sweet tones like the 85 by just rolling the tone and eq'ing. westhemann Posted April 15, 2005 Report Share Posted April 15, 2005 i've only got room for one humbucker on my new project (don't ask why) don't have to ask.the only reason i can see to not have room is that you are putting 36 or so frets on it. if you are selling it anyway...duncan jb is cheaper and more people like them...but personally i think the emg 81 is far superior.
