bluespresence
When I was in the service I played security guard when we picked up the ship's payroll before deployment. We'd pick up 6 or 7 mail bags full of cash!! We'd get it from the bank and drive it back to the ship with an officer and the payroll clerk. We never even joked about taking it. We were so psyched over guarding it I don't think a joke like that would have gone over well at the time. Quote Link to comment

StratDudeDan
$12,000 american dollars is the most i've held in my hand, er...actually, it was in one of those cool suitcases you always see in movies. it was pretty neat. my parents changed banks and closed both of their accounts the same day and had it all in cash for when they went to the new one. why they didn't just credit it, i'm not sure, but it was still cool.
