I actually liked the pickup mounting... er... plate! I think the contrast and the break from standard pickup-mounting paradigm worked out for you. :D Nice idea for the cavity covers, too.

i got a handy programme of the net somewhere called Wfret that generates them in any scale length etc... i could mail you it since i cant remember where i got it. it was maybe Martin Koch's page, but i dont know it.... memory fades!!!

I like that guitar. There are several nice touches with the covers. I also really like the look of the pine. I'm actually happy to see that it does make a nice looking guitar body. I have access to some old heart pine boards and I've been wondering if I should work with them. Based your fine work, I think I will.
