Drak
Meet Desdemona. Honduran Mahogony center sandwiched by Canadian Spalted (and) Flamed Maple top and back. This guitar is geared to be a blues hard rocker, not a Metal guitar. Listen to the Allman Bros. disc 'Hittin' The Note' (especially Warren Haynes) to hear what I'm shooting for with this one. Will be all gold hardware, pkps will have gold covers on them. TOM equipped, and I will use the top/bottom ferrules combo in a V shape for the stoppiece. I'm going to tint the sides, but not sure exactly the color yet. Black, maybe brown, don't know yet. I will like it.

Hunter
O_O! Holy sexy guitar, but I think that headstock looks too pointy for a blues machine. Edited May 23, 2006 by Hunter

GregP
Suh-wheat! I'm also impressed that a typically "metal" body shape is being used for another sound. Break down the barriers!

guitarchump
wow thats nice! Cant help but laugh at the name... I just finnished up reading Othello in my grade 12 english class. Hopefully this guitar doesnt meet the same tradgic end as Desdemona in Othello did. I love the spalt! Its got a nice colour variation to it. verhoevenc
I can honestly say i quite dis-like Vs, and I'm drawn into this one! GORGEOUS woods. It's remarkable how different spalts can look from one another. Do you/have you ever done commissions? All the guitars I see you come out with look amazing so I can't imagine you've never been confronted for one. Chris PS: I hope you know, if I do end up taking the Georgetown offer you WILL be forced to meet and hang out with me
Inisheer
Beautiful! Love the spalted top. Personally, I wouldn't tint the sides though, it looks perfect as is!
