Popular Post Norris
Time to finally wrap this up then. First of all some videos... Demo video: Dan's Demo Video First public airing: 25 or 6 to 4 Black Magic Woman Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 (My son playing bass) And then some photos... Thanks a lot to everyone that has followed this thread and given me so much encouragement & support throughout the build. To say that I am pleased with the outcome is a massive understatement. I had so many good & kind comments from the crowd last night when it was gigged for the first time (see video links above). Oh and in case you were wondering, I am the bass player - apart from the one song that my son got up to play on. It sounds like a proper telecaster too - which was one of my priorities for the build

Prostheta
Oh-hoh-hoh-hoh! It's going to be another one of those months.... Norris, my hat would be off to you if in fact I had a hat on right now. She's a blinder and sounds great. Next?
curtisa
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so that's what it looks like. It shines, it plays, it sings, it dances, it slices, it dices. There's even video proof of it firing in anger. That's going straight to the pool room. Nice work, Nozz. She's a beauty.

meatloaf
It's been a long time coming but wow was she worth the wait, she is a beaut Norris. I have loved this thread and I looked forward to each instalment. I have said this before and I'll say it again, the builds I enjoy the most are some of the builds of the non professional ( I refuse to use the term amateur) and this build is defiantly my favourite.. To me that doesn't look like a first build but looks like the build of a veteran with several guitar under his belt. Not only has this thread inspired me to build a guitar but to make many other wood related projects and now spend many hours of my retirement in my workshop.

Zoltar
Absolutely gorgeous Norris, well worth the wait! It's hard to believe it's your first build, there's so many brilliant little touches. Such a cool colour too. Can't wait to see more.
Andyjr1515
Many, many congratulations, @Norris on your fully deserved win of GOTM ! Winning first go! And only 23 pages of thread and a mere fifteen years to complete it! Outstanding on every level!
Prostheta
Agreed! Here's to your next fifteen-year project. Perhaps experience will allow that to be whittled down to a round twelve.
Norris
Cheeky sods - it was only 2 years! Thanks a lot for everyone that voted for the Nozcaster. I'm very honoured to have it chosen against some fabulous guitars this month. 1
Mr Natural
congrats on the GOTM @Norris. probably one of the best first builds I have seen. @Prostheta and @Andyjr1515 now you two ball busters leave Norris alone- he is just part of a sub club here at PG that takes their time. You know. Like others we know on here. (not naming names of course ) 2

Prostheta
The club has a requirement that once you finish something, you get kicked out of it. It feels like a very very lonely place.
ScottR
On the other hand if you never provide pictorial proof of finishing the instrument, you remain a member forever. SR 1

Andyjr1515
Great - that's successfully derailed @Norris's opus magnus. Took 23 pages but there you go. Move along now folks. Nothing to see.
Prostheta
Derailing has just become par for the course. I do however set an awful example.
