    Sand down to the sealer, or you can probably just take the clear off if you're going to use black overtop.

    Hands down I had to give it to the explorer this time, its just soooo nice, I was also a fan of the custom 7, i thought that it was really nice and it was a hair away from getting my vote. Good job to all entrants.

    You can't buy the duncan designed pickups new,you have to try and find some used ones that somebody swapped out of their guitar. Also, if you're going for a classic rock sorta bluesy sound I'll suggest the 59 for the neck and for the bridge, the Jb if you want some power ort the pearly gates for a more vintage sound.

    I know Blink 182 used an invader and I'm not sure metal matt is gonna appreciate the pop punk tone so much... just a thought.

    IF you are painting a solid colur you probably dont need to get rid of the green stuff and you could just spray over it.

    This guitar doesnt have a headstock binding and I'm salvaging parts from it because it sucks so I wanted to know if I'd be able to remove the fretboard because I have a guitar that could use it.
