ScottR
These Kleins: http://www.kleinpickups.com/p-230-high-wind-p-90-pickup-set.aspx They say Dallas, but I'm thinking they are a bit north of there in reality. They are a bit pricey, due to the materials involved, but damn they sound good. This is my 5th set. SR

ScottR
Something about the binding makes the center block work better now. It's looking quite classy. SR

dawnofzion
I got around to fretting the neck. I also put several coats of danish oil on the body back, sides and neck. I do t have a pic but I got the pickguard cut, beveled, and ready. Next step is gold top paint for the body.
Prostheta
I'm looking forward to seeing which kind of gold this turns out to be!
dawnofzion
Gold paint going on. I decided to go matching headstock. I finished up the paint, then scraped the bindings. There are a couple light coats of clear on the gold. I plan to retape and start clearing the top next. I also test fit the decal......lookin' good! 10pizza
That body turned out really great. Nice walnut back and I'm always a lover of gold-tops, looking great. I tried doing a gold-finish once and failed. How did you get on with the finish? have fun putting everything together!
Prostheta
That's a damn tidy goldtop....I was wondering if it might have that slight green tinge like vintage Gibsons.

I always manage to get the top/back dirty when painting on the shielding paint, thinking "it will sand out". Might as well spend the extra time with tape. Good reminder for me. Love the color combinations btw and the gold top is superb!
