this pic says a million words. The compensation you get beyond the price of product- happy customers.

Those are awesome looking builds.

The only thing i dont like is the cavity cover shape.

That'll be different next year- I have an idea I've never seen done on a guitar before.

As soon as I messaged the owner of this one that it was ready he jumped in his car and came to collect - lives about 1.5hrs away.

Another one setup today and new photo's.

This time it's Davids (#3) SS7 - 26.125" scale - 666 scale in metric! It's actually 663, but since I move my bridges back 3mm it's really 666! I never even planned it, just works out that way

It's especially funny when you consider that it is actually a very playable scale length too! Enough so that it feels familiar in terms of tension and spacing yet long enough to add tension to the seventh string without cheese-wiring the high strings.

To be particularly awkward I like calculating my scales in Metric. Imperial fractions just aren't appropriate unless you've specifically been brought up to work in that method, and even then decimal calculations are more logical. I do agree that fraction-based calculations are excellent in engineering terms for simple ratios and division of course. Anyway.

Reminds me of Gender Of The Beast (NSFW).

First of all, this is a quick mobile phone recording, so the video and sound are low quality, second of all, it was unplanned and spontaneous and I didn't even manage to get the camera sitting in the right spot. Well, who cares, it's a quickie one shot and its over video so I wasn't going to do it again!

Here is a couple of bolt on bodies I'm getting ready to go out - this pic is clear primer, under the clear is a clear sealer/filler, over the top a trans finish will be sprayed on one and an airbrushed camo on the other.

It's automotive 2k. I use it for priming (over a sealer) and I also use it to top coat. It's an expensive way to paint and it also takes much longer, but I get good results that way. I've used dedicated clear "primers" before and they tend to dull the overall finish.
