radius I think is now possible... And the custom inlays MIGHT be possible, but will cost you LOADS. Really very much!
Profile they won't do, but you'll find they're really alredy great!
I would LOVE a 727... or any other carvin, mind you... but there's shipping and other stuff to include... I'm in Canada. It comes down to some more money, and I haven't got that kind of money.....
And I heard duncan design were really good pickups compared to most stock pickups... Else the 007 blackjack (same price) has a 59' and a JB... Should be good nuff!
well... for thee pickups... the stick uses 2 EMGs... One for bass and one for guitar (the same you can get for bass and for your guitar, as far as I know) and I guess it sounds alright...
ehm yeah if it's the high E, it's more often than not quieter than the rest (especially on strat style guitars it would seem?) because of the pole pieces not facing the string directly sometimes...
BTW, if you get it checked by a pro, be wary.
He might tell you it's worth nothing and try to buy it from you... A service
Seriously, I've seen many luthiers (sorry guys but it's true) try to **** poeple up with those costy violins...
well from my experience, don't get a centrino... They have almost NO power for the price you're paying... And if it's for gaming and recording, you'll probably be plugged anyways, so no need for the more battery life thing.
that is probably one of the most used wood combinaison in guitar history...
Yes, it will sound fine for sure!! Not too dark and not too much highs...
I would recommend humbuckers instead of single-coils for that wood, though.
lets just say scalloping a factory guitar with blocks won't get you quite a good result lol... Unless you do a REALLY shallow scallop.
And there's no reason why it wouldn't be possible with ebony... just takes much longer
msn.. I just watched it again... and now I have an headache.
I think alex's right... It's not THAT out of tune, the guy just doesn't play the right notes!!
oh and please tell them to knock off some bass...
Bah, big shops are there just to try and see the guitars... You're better off buying from a smaller shops that cares about their guitars AND their clients!
his OLD bass actually... his new model doesn't have it anymore
(YAYYY!!! I finally found a pic!!)

Surely no one would argue that a 80's or before fender/gibson were REALLY great guitars! But the recent models are really starting to decline in quality (and tu augment in price)
and as jester said, a 2005 gibson doesn't really have more value than any other guitar for the same price...
And btw... I tryed an explorer recently... My dream guitar before I tryed one.....
The neck feels like it hasen't even been fully rounded... Whatever lol
why don't you go the hsh route instead?
You could have a nice jazz neck pickups in there...
Anyways I think you should try to go with something a bit less costy... They'll probably end up being as good anyways!!
off-center dots?
just small dots or lines or something near the side of the fretboard. Looks classy!
Or just nothing except a real cool inlay at the 12th fret!
Very nice Mike!!! That really looks like what you wanted no (with flame it should, at least)
maybe use a little lighter yellow or something...
You're pretty much there anyways!!!
